FAQ
When should I use FPS conversion?
Use it when subtitles start close to correct but gradually drift because a film or broadcast copy uses a different frame rate, such as 23.976 vs 25 FPS.
What if the delay is constant?
Use the subtitle shift tool instead. FPS conversion changes the whole timeline proportionally; a shift moves every cue by the same amount.
What if I do not know either frame rate?
Use two-point resync. It calculates the required stretch from two matching lines without needing FPS values.
